Terms of service

These terms apply when you request a quote, schedule a job, or receive service from Gulf Coast Duct Co. ("we," "our," or "us"). Please read them. If you have questions, call us at (239) 306-2327 or email info@gulfcoastductco.com.
1. Acceptance of terms
By contacting us, scheduling a job, or letting us perform work at your home or property, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services we provide
Gulf Coast Duct Co. is a family-owned business offering residential air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning across West Central Florida, including the Tampa through Orlando corridor. The scope of any specific job is described in the quote we provide and confirmed when we arrive. We do not perform mold remediation, asbestos removal, or HVAC repair, though we may refer you to a licensed specialist if we notice something during a cleaning.
3. Quotes, scheduling, and payment
- Quotes. Quotes are based on the information you give us (number of vents, dryer location, square footage, system type). If conditions on site differ from what was described, we will let you know before starting and confirm any change in price.
- Scheduling. We confirm appointments by phone, text, or email. Arrival windows are estimates. We do our best to keep them and will text or call if we are running behind.
- Payment. Payment is due at the completion of the job unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other methods listed on your invoice. Returned payments and chargebacks may be subject to fees allowed by Florida law.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment by calling or texting (239) 306-2327. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible so we can offer the slot to another customer. Repeated last-minute cancellations or missed appointments where our crew arrives on site may be subject to a trip fee.
5. Workmanship and warranty
We stand behind our work. If something we cleaned was not done correctly, contact us within 30 days of the visit and we will come back out and make it right at no charge. This warranty covers the workmanship of the cleaning itself. It does not cover pre-existing damage, conditions inside the system that were disclosed before the job, or new buildup that occurs after our visit through normal use.
6. Customer responsibilities
To help the job go smoothly and safely, we ask that you:
- Provide clear access to all supply and return vents, the dryer, and the indoor air handler.
- Move fragile or valuable items out of the work area before we arrive.
- Keep pets contained in a separate room while our crew is working.
- Let us know in advance about any known issues with your HVAC system, ductwork, or dryer (recent repairs, water damage, mold, asbestos concerns).
- Have an adult present, or arrange access if you cannot be home.
7. Limitation of liability
We carry general liability insurance and take care in your home. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions inside ducts or vents, underlying HVAC defects, or damage caused by issues we could not reasonably have known about before starting work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited under Florida law.
8. Text message (SMS) terms
When you provide your mobile number to Gulf Coast Duct Co. (by calling, filling out a form on this site, or asking us to text you), you agree to receive text messages from us related to your service request. The information below explains how our SMS program works and how to stop messages at any time.
Types of messages
Messages are transactional and informational. Examples include appointment confirmations, arrival windows, scheduling changes, follow-up questions after a job, and quote details. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages as part of this program.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your service. Most customers receive between 1 and 5 messages per request.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
Opt-out
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (239) 306-2327.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and Gulf Coast Duct Co. agree to that venue.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use our services after we post changes means you accept the updated terms.
